Through Aetna we offer all US benefit-eligible employees three medical plan options which automatically come with OptumRx prescription coverage.

Dental Plan

Your dental health is an important part of your overall wellness.

When looking for a Provider in-network remember there are two national provider networks available with our dental plan options.

  • The Delta Dental PPO network delivers the greatest savings but has fewer dentists to choose from.
  • The Delta Dental Premier® network is the largest dentist network, but savings aren’t as significant.

To find a participating provider within the Delta Dental network, and to determine if they are a PPO or Premier provider, log on to www.deltadentalma.com.

For medical, Rx, dental and vision coverage, all employees are eligible for benefits.

Vision Plan

Vision care coverage is provided through VSP Vision. VSP allows you to receive vision care services from any provider you wish. When you access vision care from VSP network providers, most eligible services are covered at 100%, subject to copays. Vision care accessed from non-network providers is covered at different levels.

Health Savings Account (HSA)
Most people use their HSAs during their working years to pay for medical expenses that aren’t covered by insurance, such as deductibles, copayments and noncovered items.

A better strategy is to treat your HSA like an additional Retirement Account.

  • Fully fund the HSA during your working years and pay current medical expenses from non-HSA sources to the extent you can.
  • Invest those HSA savings into optional investment funds offered by Payflex.
  • Remember to periodically monitor your HSA investment fund performance at Payflex.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) allow you to put aside money for important expenses and help you reduce your income taxes at the same time. HealthEdge offers the following FSAs:

  • Health Care FSA: medical, Rx, dental and vision expenses
  • Limited Purpose Health Care FSA: dental and vision expenses only (for HSA Participants)
  • Dependent Care FSA –babysitters, daycare, day camp, home nursing, etc.

Life and AD&D Insurance
Your family depends on your income for a comfortable lifestyle and for the resources necessary to maintain their lifestyle. You likely don’t think of a scenario where you’re no longer there for your family, but you need to ensure their future is financially secure. 

  • Basic Term Life and AD&D Insurance: HealthEdge provides eligible employees with Basic Term Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage at no cost to you and enrollment is automatic.
  • Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance: You may also choose to purchase Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance coverage in addition to the company-paid benefit.

To be eligible for Life and AD&D you must be a regular full- or part-time employees who is scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more.

Disability Insurance
Short-Term Disability Insurance
Short-Term Disability Insurance replaces a portion of your income if an injury or illness forces you out of work for an extended period of time. HealthEdge provides basic short-term disability coverage at no cost to you and enrollment is automatic. The benefit pays 66 2/3% of the first $1,500 of weekly pre-disability earnings as of the date of disability; weekly maximum benefit of $1,500. Benefits are effective on date of hire and the benefit duration period is 90 days or the date your long-term disability benefit begins.

Long-Term Disability
HealthEdge also provides Long-Term Disability Insurance to protect your finances when your disability continues beyond the period covered by the short-term disability plan. This benefit is also fully paid for by the company and enrollment is automatic. The monthly benefit is 60% of the first $10,000 of monthly predisability earnings; maximum monthly benefits $10,000. Benefits are effective on date of hire and LTD benefits begin after 90 days of disability.

Hospital Indemnity
If you are admitted into a hospital, it doesn’t take long for the out-of-pocket costs to add up. The Hospital Indemnity benefit provides a lump sum amount directly to you if you are admitted into a hospital for care, such as childbirth, surgery and illness. The lump sum benefit is paid even if you have other coverage.

To be eligible for Hospital Indemnity you must be a regular full- or part-time employee who is scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more.

Critical Illness
Even the most generous medical plan does not cover all of the expenses of a serious medical condition like a heart attack or cancer. This critical illness benefit pays a lump sum amount directly to you if you are diagnosed with a covered illness. This benefit is paid in addition to any other insurance coverage you may have.

Be sure to participate in Prudential’s Wellness Benefit by completing an eligible health screening test and you will receive a benefit payment to use however you’d like. Employees, spouses, domestic partners, and children can receive $50 each annually.

To be eligible for Critical Illness you must be a regular full- or part-time employees who is scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more.

Accident Insurance
Major injuries are painful, but the financial impact of the medical treatment doesn’t have to be. This accident benefit pays a lump sum amount directly to you if you suffer a range of covered injuries such as a fracture, burn, ligament damage or major concussion. Benefits are paid even if you have other coverage.

Be sure to participate in Prudential’s Wellness Benefit by completing an eligible health screening test and you will receive a benefit payment to use however you’d like. Employees, spouses, domestic partners, and children can receive $50 each annually.

To be eligible for Accident Insurance you must be a regular full- or part-time employees who is scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more.

ID Theft Protection
HealthEdge is offering a new voluntary benefit for ID Theft Protection through Metlife.

Protection Services Include:

401(k) Retirement Plan

The HealthEdge Software 401(k) Plan gives you a great way to save for your retirement with help from the Company. We will match 50% of our employee contributions up to a max of 3.5%. In order for you to max out the match you must contribute 7% yourself.

Starting on 1/1/2023 all new match dollars into the plan will vest immediately.

All dollars matched prior to 1/1/2023 will continue to vest on the 4-year schedule that you were assigned.
